Ledarskap i Centrum
Ledarskap i utbildningsorganisationer berör de flesta. Ledarskap är ett tvärvetenskapligt forskningsområde som påverkar och påverkas av många områden. Vem som leder och hur det görs påverkar aktörers förutsättningar och resultat. Teorier och forskning om organisation och ledarskap är både bred och under ständig förändring. Det behövs ständig dialog och samtal om ledarskap. Centrum för skolledarutvecklings seminarieserie med nationella och internationella gäster presenterar nu sitt fjärde seminarium. Vårt seminarium erbjuder dig att ta del av ny forskning inom området samt att samtala med personer från andra discipliner om hur ledarskap kan förstås och uppfattas.
Vid vårt fjärde seminarium har vi besök av Professor Jorunn Møller som kommer att föreläsa om ett nytt projekt om hur skollagen påverkar rektorers vardag. Föreläsningen kommer att hållas på engelska.
Jorunn Møller is Professor at University of Oslo, the Department of Teacher Education and School Research, and Vice Dean for Research at the Faculty of Educational Sciences. Her professional interests are in the areas of educational leadership and governance, reform policies and school accountability. She has been involved in a range of research projects on educational leadership and policy change, and is also participating in international research networks in the field of school leadership.
Legal Standards and Professional Judgment in School Leadership

School leaders at all levels are expected to know the law and regulations to be able to attend to their role as civil servants. The project deals with the question of how legal issues in education are transformed into daily practices. The key question is: How do school leaders make professional decisions related to legal standards and students’ rights to adapted education, special needs education, and a good psychosocial environment? In the study we will identify the tools and mechanisms that mediate interpretations of the legal standards in the Education Act and investigate how leaders at different levels in the educational system understand the legal requirements, how they build their arguments, and how the rights of students are adhered to.
